Are you a parent of a child or children ages 5 and under? Are you considering homeschooling? If so, HSLDA (Home School Legal Defense Association) offers a free membership for you.
What is HSLDA? It is a legal organization dedicated to fighting for the rights of homeschoolers. I have been a member since I first started homeschooling and I always recommend that homeschoolers join. I view it as homeschool insurance. If you ever run into any problems with your local school district or with child protective services regarding a homeschooling issue, these are the people to call. They can answer your questions and provide legal help if needed. They also offer a number of resources on their website.
As a parent of a preschooler, you can obtain free online resources as well as free phone and email consultations with their special needs consultants. Find out more at hslda.org/preschool.
