In Plain Sight – New Catholic Teen Romantic Mystery

In Plain Sight by Leslea Wahl is the third book in her Finding Faith series, but you don’t need to have read the previous two to enjoy this teen/YA romantic mystery.

Emerson and her father moved from Arizona to Minnesota in the midst of a freezing January so that her father can take a new job helping to fix up an old lodge. As they and their charming dog, Zuri (who really steals the story!), adjust to their new environment, Emerson makes new friends, including the handsome Reid.

As Emerson and Reid explore the lodge, they soon realize that there are mysteries to solve involving secret rooms and tunnels. Reid is also determined to figure out what Emerson and her father are doing in Minnesota in the first place, especially since it seems like they left the other members of their family behind.

Emerson also wrestles with her Catholic faith in a meaningful way, struggling to figure out where God is in the midst of her pain.

The tender young romance and compelling mysteries will keep both teen and adult readers turning pages!
