Pro-Life Apologetics is a course in theology and philosophy. Building on the unchangeable Catholic/Christian belief that every life has value from conception until natural death, the course explores the practical ways that this belief is applied to today’s modern world. It goes through the history of the abortion issue in the United States, current modern social criticism and the best logical arguments against abortion based on religion and science. It incorporates Catholic social teaching with philosophical tactics for creating sound arguments. It then teaches the students how to most effectively converse and debate in the pro-life sphere. The course is designed for juniors and seniors as preparation for college.
