Pro-Life Apologetics for Teens

With the recent Supreme Court decision nullifying Roe v. Wade, it is more important than ever that teens (and adults) have the ability to discuss pro-life arguments in a reasoned and respectful way.

Pro-Life Apologetics is dedicated to providing young adults with the necessary knowledge, tactics, and confidence to best share the beauty of the pro-life movement with those whom they encounter. Building on the unchangeable Catholic belief that every life has value from conception until natural death, they offer an online course that explores the practical ways that this belief is applied to today’s modern world. It goes through the history of the abortion issue in the United States, current modern social criticism and the best logical arguments against abortion based on religion and science. It incorporates Catholic social teaching with philosophical tactics for creating sound arguments. It then teaches the students how to most effectively converse and debate in the pro-life sphere. The course is designed for juniors and seniors as preparation for college.

Bonita Pratt is the creator and teacher of this course and cannot wait to share her love of the pro-life movement with you! She was homeschooled through high school and was blessed to experience many different virtual teaching styles and platforms. She then went on to graduate Summa Cum Laude from Saint Mary’s College in Communications where I was a member of the National Communication Association Honor Society. While attending Saint Mary’s, she ran the pro-life club which included creating two fundraising campaigns, advocating for the pregnant students on campus, personally organizing multiple events, and hosting the diocesan bishop. Her work in the pro-life movement started in 2011. She has worked and volunteered at a pregnancy center for 10 years, spoken at the local gathering for the National Day of Prayer – focusing on the unborn, and attended multiple of the local and national Marches for Life. For the past two years, she has been a pregnancy counselor, working with women from all sorts of situations. She is also a staunch Catholic and have taught religious education for four years. And lastly, a little fun fact; She has over 100 first cousins!
