It’s always fun for children to get something in the mail! I recently had the opportunity to read the May/June 2026 edition of St. Mary’s Messenger, a magazine for Catholic kids that is published quarterly (with occasional special supplements).

This particular issue focused on Pentecost and the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, including how to make a Pentecost parachute and a Holy Spirit T-shirt. It also included articles on the sacred cloak of St. Joseph, the symbolism of the colors blue and red, Moses and the burning bush, ideas for summer activities, and saints with their animals.

There were also some fun games, including hidden pictures, saints Sudoku, and a word search.
